KIN CAMP
KIN CAMP is a three-day camping retreat designed to introduce first-year and transfer UBC students to the exciting, energetic, and inclusive spirit that our KINmunity has to offer! Dance away those first year nerves, leave your inhibitions in the city and experience the perfect kickstart to your UBC degree!
WELKIN BACK BBQ
We’ve missed you all so much and what better way to kickstart the year than with catching up with friends and meeting new kinners! There will be free hotdogs, snacks, drinks, spikeball and more!
KINSGIVING
Whether you are away from home and missing that good ol’ turkey & stuffing dinner or just wanting to show off your grandma’s secret pumpkin pie recipe, the KUS would love to share a thanksgiving dinner with you!
HALLOWEEN BOAT CRUISE
Dress up in your favourite costumes and dance the night away… on a boat, because everything’s better on a boat. Plus, dinner will be included AND there’s a bar!
BLACK TIE EVENT
Not sure what to do with your degree? Want to network and build connections? Our Black Tie dinner is the perfect opportunity to talk to UBC KIN professors, alumni, and Kinesiology-related professionals! Food will be included!
KINTER WONDERLAND
Need some holly jolly joy in your life before finals? Spend some time with fellow kinners and celebrate the holidays at Kinter Wonderland! Play some games, jam out to holiday tunes, and spread some holiday cheer/build your best gingerbread house.
KINDER
Friendship always strikes true with us Kinners! What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than an afternoon playing mini carnival games, doing arts and crafts, and hanging out with your best friends?
CAREER FAIR
Walk through a large variety of booths to learn more about Kinesiology related fields! Connect with professionals (volunteers, non-profits, organizations and businesses) to learn more about volunteer or job opportunities and ask all your career questions!
KIN FORMAL
Get dressed up with your best friends at KIN Formal. At this annual event, you get to enjoy a fancy dinner and dance the night away! Be sure to expect a DJ, photo booth, and lots of fun games and prizes you won't want to miss.
KIN SPORTS DAY
KUS will be taking you back to the good times of elementary school sports days. 4 teams and lots of classic games leading to one team being crowned the KUS sports day champions!
