Lots of free support opportunities for young people ages 12-24, including virtual drop-in counselling sessions, workshops, medical drop-in clinics, and much more.

International emotional support. Offers free 24/7 online chat, affordable online therapy, and self help guides.

Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC

(604) 872-3311. Confidential calls available 24/7 or online chats available 12pm to 1am for individuals in crisis / distress / or having thoughts about suicide.

UBC Centre for Accessibility

The Centre for Accessibility facilitates disability-related accommodations and programming initiatives designed to remove barriers for students with disabilities and ongoing medical conditions.

UBC Dietician

Offers confidential in-person or virtual meetings and a form to ask questions to registered dieticians. They provide counselling services to students currently living in UBC residences.

Student Health Services

Located in UBC Hospital. Offers confidential health care services for UBC students. Top reasons for visiting include: sexual health and birth control, mental health/illness/substance abuse, sports medicine, injuries and wound care, immunization and allergy care. Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO)

It is a safe and confidential place for students, faculty, and staff who have experienced sexual violence, regardless of where or when it took place. This includes any attempt or act of a sexual nature without your consent. All gender identities, expressions and sexualities are welcome. They can help you find a safe place to stay, arrange academic concessions, coordinate workplace accommodations, explain your reporting option, and go to the hospital or police with you.

AMS Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC)

They are committed to educating, supporting, and empowering people of all genders who are survivors of sexualized violence. They provide free and confidential services to UBC students, staff, faculty, and those connected to the UBC-Vancouver campus community. Their services include crisis and short term emotional support, support groups, advocacy, education and outreach, community lending library, and a resource area.
