    Formerly called the ON COVIF-19 Project, On Canada was created to fill the gap of communication between Millennials and Generation Z. Their main mission is to continually educate Canadian Youth by speaking up about social inequalities that occurred as the result of the pandemic. They are committed to share credible Canadian information about what is happening in Canada. On Canada Project prides themselves as 100% volunteer-based led by young adults

  • Chinese Community Library Services Association

    This asociation serves the Chinese immigrant community though Chinese language books, cultural events aimed at helping families preserve and share their culture and history (especially with younger generations), and a community space for seniors to gather and connect.

  • Savage Production Society

    Created in 2004 the Savage Production society provided members the resources and space to produce their own stories as practicing Indigenous Theatre and Film Artists.

    The society develops work that reflects the Indigenous view of the world, sourcing traditional stories and cosmologies and contemporary realities as Indigenous people for both professional and community settings.

    Savage Society operates on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), sq̓əc̓iy̓aɁɬ təməxʷ (Katzie), Qayqayt, kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem ), Kwantlen and sc̓əwaθenaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsawwassen) Nations.

  • Vancouver BIPOC-CA

    The Vancouver BIPOC-CA; Black & Indigenous People of Colour Creative Association is a newly formed non-profit collective in solidarity to reclaim space and create equity in the creative industry.

    This association promotes empowerment and investment of reform for local Black & Indigenous creatives and the overall BC creative industry. BIPOC-CA is an organization that helps open the doors for creatives to have access to space for BIPOC-CA creatives.

  • Support Network for Indigenous Women & Women of Colour (SNIWWOC)

    SNIWWOC is a Canadian non-profit organization committed to the empowerment of women with food, art, and education. The non-profit address barriers that limit access to healthcare and full reproductive choice. SNIWWOC operates from a holistic and integrated service model that addresses the social, cultural and political realities of women who identify as black, indigenous, and people of colour (BIPOC).

  • Vancouver Black Therapy and Advocacy Fund

    VBT&AF is a non-profit organization that raises funds to connect Black community members with accredited Black counsellors and therapists locally.

    They provide barrier-free mental health access, with priority given to Black Disabled, Low Income, and LGBTQIA+ folks.

  • BC Community Alliance

    BC Community Alliance (BCCA) is a local, Black-led, community-based organization, formed in 2019 and registered as a non-profit in 2020, dedicated to addressing the structural inequities created by racism, especially anti-Black racism, within education settings in British Columbia.

  • Refugee Career Jumpstart Project

    Jumpstart Refugee Talent is a refugee led non-profit organization and the only national organization exclusively serving refugees seeking meaningful economic inclusion. Founded in 2016, we focus on the economic empowerment of newly settled refugees in Canada by facilitating meaningful employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. Jumpstart began as an organization focused on supporting Syrian newcomers in Toronto and has since grown to serving refugees from all backgrounds across Canada and works to address underemployment and economic inclusion.
